Over the past few days, rumors have circulated online about Tristan Thompson getting back with Khloe Kardashian based on the reality star's Instagram stories. More recently, amid all the drama, the NBA player made a big move for his daughter, True Thompson.
According to Daily Mail UK, the 30-year-old athlete took his daughter on a dinner date to celebrate a late Valentine's date.
Taking to his Instagram stories, Tristan shared a video of him and True eating at a Japanese restaurant.
In the short clip, the three-year-old girl can be seen eating her food with her hands and a fork. The basketball player then gave his daughter a sweet kiss on her forehead.
The Indiana Pacers player captioned the video, "my favorite type of date nights," along with a heart and crossed finger emoji.
The recent father-and-daughter date night comes a few days after fans speculated at Tristan's relationship status with the "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" star.
The reconciliation rumors began swirling after Khloe took to her Instagram stories to share Valentine's day gift she received from Poosh, her sister Kourtney's brand.
She received many baskets with love-themed presents, including nightgowns, beauty products, adult toys, and many more.
Instead of pointing out the lavish gift goodies, a few fans notice True speaking to a person in the background.
Although the three-year-old daughter was not seen on camera, she can be heard singing, shouting, and saying, "Happy birthday, daddy!"
The Good American CEO ignored True and went on to express her gratitude for Kourtney, saying, "I just received the best Poosh gift and gift from my sister Kourt of course."
The issue was later posted in a Reddit thread, where fans alleged Tristan and Khloe were together at the time.
However, a fan noted that the possible reason why they are spending time with each other is that they're co-parenting.
At the time of this writing, neither Khloe Kardashian nor Tristan Thompson has confirmed the actual score between them.
The ex-couple has been reportedly separated since June 2021 because of the basketball star's issue with Sydney Chase.
He was later embroiled in a bigger issue when Maralee Nichols claimed he was the father of his child. Although he initially denied the allegations, Tristan came clean and publicly admitted his wrongdoing.
