The NAACP Image Awards have just announced their performers and presenters, and it is going to an absolutely sensational night.
The NAACP Image Awards is an awards cemeony that focuses on sensational performances in film, television, theatre, music, and literature. According to an article on The Hollywood Reporter, Mary J. Blige will be performing the 53rd year of these anual awards. Mary J. Blige is coming fresh off of her absolutely breath taking Super Bowl Half Time Show performance where she left audiences starstruck alongside Snoop Dog, 50 Cent, Emminem, Dr. Dre, and Kendrick Lamar. We are sure that this performance will be equally sensational.
While we can be certain that Mary J. Blige is going to be an undeniable phenom at the show, the award presenters are equally amazing. Issa Rae, Kerry Washington, LL Cool J, Michael Strahan, Morgan Freeman, Paula Patton, Questlove, Simu Liu, Tiffany Haddish, and Zendaya are among the stars that will be presenting the awards. Those presenting and those honored with awards make this years NAACP Image Awards absolutely unmissable.
We also know who will be recieving some of the awards. The ever iconic Samuel L. Jackson will recieve the NAACP Chairman's Award. Nikole Hannah Jones will be honored with the Social Justice Impact Award. She recieves this based due to her work as the creator of the 1619 Project.
