Johnny Depp, Amber Heard Dating? 'Paranoia Actress' Says Private Life is 'Not Part of My Professional Life'
Amber Heard has been tight-lipped about her relationship with Johnny Depp, and the actress intends to keep it that way.
"It's not part of my professional life. I want to be an artist. I don't want to be a celebrity," she told Flare magazine in the September 2013 issue. "You can find pictures of me [on the Internet] pumping gas, picking up dry cleaning, walking my dog, but nowhere are you going to find pictures of me hanging around at some nightclub."
The 27-year-old has no desire to have her relationship on public display. She talked about her personal life only in the matter of comparision, drawing in A-listers that have every movement of their intimate moments reported on by media outlets. Her decision to stay private about certain details of her life also forces Heard to be extra careful in the way she acts in her personal life, but that's a factor she said she's willing to deal with.

"Can you eve imagine yourself in a situation like Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie or Kim Kardashian and Kanye West where the world feels like they have a stake in your private life? I would never want it," she said. "I guess I could not hold hands with who I want to, but what kind of life would that be? I don't want to change just because people are watching. I've always been the person who says what she wants."
Depp and Heard, former Rum Diary co-stars, have been romantically tied since his split from long-time partner Vanessa Paradis in 2012. They have been photographed on several occasions, including having dinner with Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards in May.

More recently, Depp and Heard arrived in japan with the actor's children Jack and Lily-Rose. The three of them accompanied Depp as he flew to the country in July to promote his latest film The Lone Ranger. They were greeted by an enormous crowd of fans who swarmed the airport to see the 50-year-old actor. Depp embraced his fans and even gave a toddler a kiss on the cheek.
