They have wondered about his life, what inspired his art, and what made him so mystifying and captivating. Netflix has now set about to uncover everything they can about the phenom.
The Andy Warhol Diaries will delve deeply into the life, relationships, and art of Andy Warhol. Much of the content for this documentary series, including the title, comes from the artist's posthumously published diaries. They allow insight into the inner workings and machinations of the visionary, allowing people to get even a step closer to understanding who he was.
This sure-to-be incredible documentary series will be released in six parts, covering the artist's entire life. According to the official description,"the series traces Warhol's almost unbelievably diverse journey fluidly moving between mediums and through eras as an artist – both revered and reviled – director, publisher, TV producer, scene maker, celebrity, and much more.
