Kim Kardashian Wants Divorce From Kanye West Finalized ASAP Due to Bothering Posts
Kim Kardashian is taking a massive step as she aims to finalize her divorce from Kanye West.
After their recent heated exchanges, Kardashian brought a new filing to end her marriage to West. The "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star filed the documents on Wednesday, with PEOPLE obtaining a copy of it the following day.
Kardashian particularly asked the court to reject all the "Jesus is King" rapper's attempts to hinder her immediate divorce request. As for the reason why she wants it to be finalized already, she said that her estranged husband's recent posts were disturbing enough to affect her life negatively.
"Since filing for divorce, Mr. West, by his actions, has made it clear that he does not accept that the parties' marital relationship is over," the documents explained. "Mr. West has disseminated on social media the parties' private communications and misinformation about personal family matters and co-parenting, which has caused emotional distress."
It added that terminating their marital status might help West to accept that their marital relationship is already over. That way, he could start his new life journey to help him have a peaceful co-parenting of their children.
Kardashian also supported her request, saying that delaying the divorce would cause nothing but further tension and anxiety. She then accused West of trying to change the terms of their prenuptial agreement, and the court should reportedly not permit him to do so.

Aside from the official filing, a declaration from the KKW Beauty mogul was also attached. Kardashian herself said that she asked West to keep their divorce private but the rapper has not done so.
She said West has been sharing misinformation about her and her family that affect their privacy and security.
"I believe that the court terminating our marital status will help Kanye to accept that our marital relationship is over and to move forward on a better path which will assist us in peacefully co-parenting our children," she went on.
Kardashian first filed for divorce from West in February. They initially agreed to have a post-split relationship in order to co-parent their four children - North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm - but things turned ugly between them.
The court is yet to respond to Kardashian's request, but it surely became another huge blow to West.
