Sarah Jessica Parker Makes Broadway Comeback; Why 'Plaza Suite' Got Canceled?
After the success of Sarah Jessica Parker's acting in the hit HBO Max series "And Just Like That," the actress made her Broadway comeback after two years for the theatre show "Plaza Suite."
Over the weekend, the actress and her husband, Matthew Broderick, took the stage and performed in front of a sold-out crowd at the Hudson Theatre.
During the curtain call, SJP shared her sentiments over the show and expressed her gratitude to the audience.
"Thank you so much for your warmth, for your hospitality, for your kindness, and for being here tonight. So many of you have been waiting two years for theater to return," the "Sex and the City" star said. (via ET Online)

'Plaza Suite' Got Canceled in 2020
The show was initially scheduled to preview at the theatre on March 13, 2020, but it got canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
According to Broadway News, the preview show was premiered on February 25, but the opening night will be held at the same venue on March 28.
"Plaza Suite" is a story of three couples played by SJP and Broderick. The three pairs happen to stay in the same hotel room as they navigate through their relationships.
The first act, titled "Visitor From Mamaroneck," revolves around the story of Karen and Sam Nash as they try to reignite the spark within their connection.
The second act will tell the story of Jesse Kiplinger and Murial Tate titled "Visitor from Hollywood." The final act will be about Roy and Norma Hubley, which was based on a real story.
Before shooting to fame for her movies and TV shows, Sarah Jessica Parker worked as an actor on Broadway, and the recent theatre show was her stage comeback after two decades.
In 2020, SJP shared how she and her husband decided to revive their onstage acting passion with the help of John Benjamin Hickey.
Since "Plaza Suite" was based on a novel, she said that they were reminded of how funny and moving it was.
"How much it is about relationships and marriage and milestones and betrayal. How much it is about marriages at different parts, at different points of years spent together and the absurdity of all of it," she told the outlet.
