Amanda Bynes wanted to seek freedom from her conservatorship, like what happened to Britney Spears a few months ago. Today, an insider close to the actress spoke out about what she's looking forward to in the future.

Speaking to E! Online, a source familiar to the 35-year-old actress, said she'd want to get married and do the things she intended to do, including traveling anywhere without any restrictions.

However, there's a big problem coming her way as "nobody is really sure right now what's next for her."

Despite having an uncertain future, based on the reports her family has gotten, Amanda Bynes is determined to fight for her right to manage her own life on a daily basis.

The "Hairspray" star's lawyer, David Esquibias, also shared the same sentiments, saying Bynes will be able to navigate her life independently once the conservatorship is terminated.

Per the outlet, the star has been living in a structured community for women.

Amanda Bynes Engaged to a Man She Met In Rehab

On Valentine's day 2020, she announced her engagement to Paul Michael, a man she met while serving time in a rehabilitation facility.

The actress took to her Instagram account and shared a picture of her massive diamond ring on her finger while her hand was placed on top of her fiance's.

Initially, her boyfriend's identity was kept private, but she proudly shared her name on Instagram.

Amanda Bynes Wants to Terminate Her Conservatorship

In early reports, the actress petitioned the Ventura County Superior Court in California to put an end to her conservatorship individually and her estate.

According to Page Six, Amanda Bynes also submitted a capacity statement so that all of her updated documents from physicians, psychologists, or religious healing practitioners would be included in the proceedings.

Her trial will begin on March 22, 2022.

In October, amid Jamie Spears getting removed from Britney Spears' conservatorship, members of the #FreeBritney movement aired their support for Bynes, saying they will shift their perspective on her.

Many supporters wanted to rally for Bynes as they felt she was undergoing the same situation as the pop star but under different circumstances.

Megan Radford, one of the organizers, said they wanted to fight with Bynes to end her current situation and educate the public on the dangers of being under a conservatorship.
