Michael Jackson's Wrongful Death Lawsuit Forgotten? Paris Jackson Works With Company Sued
Paris Jackson, the only daughter of Michael Jackson, has released a new three-track EP titled "The Lost," which is distributed by Republic Records/Universal Music Publishing Group.
Her collaboration with Caamp on the song "Lost," as well as her tracks "Breathe Again" and "Never Going Back Again," are included on the project.
Paris's schedule is extremely hectic this month as she embarks on a North American tour with Patrick Droney, who she has partnered up with.
In the footsteps of her father, this will be Paris' first time embarking on a concert tour.
She will, however, be working with the same production team that produced Michael Jackson's farewell tour, "This Is It," which was cut short due to his death.
Michael's daughter is embarking on her first solo tour, which will take place in Paris this weekend and AEG will be promoting the show, per TMZ.
Her next stop will be a stretch of performances throughout the United States, including stops in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Seattle, Portland and other cities.
Does she, on the other hand, appear to have forgotten that the Jackson family and AEG have a strained relationship? They have had a rough relationship in the past.
Katherine Jackson, the family's matriarch, filed a wrongful death lawsuit against AEG in 2010 for the death of her son, Michael Jackson.
She claimed that the firm was partially to responsible for the King of Pop's death in 2009, claiming that the company's ill-fated employment of Dr. Conrad Murray was a contributing factor.
The jury, on the other hand, ruled in favor of AEG, finding that Jackson's drug usage was the root cause of his death and that AEG was not liable for failing to protect the performer's life.
According to the jury foreman, they were of the opinion that the doctor was qualified to do the duties for which he had been employed, and they added, "That does not imply that we thought he was moral. If that question had been included, it might have resulted in a different starting point."
'MJ: The Musical' Attracts the Children of Michael Jackson
Paris Jackson, along with her brother Prince and her cousin Blanket Jackson, attended the star-studded opening night of "MJ: The Musical" at the Neil Simon Theater in New York in early February.
They are said to have given the musical their seal of approval in honor of their late father.
The late Michael Jackson has two children with his ex-wife Debbie Rowe, with whom he was married from 1996 to 1999. The children are Prince and Paris Jackson.
