Kim Kardashian has been declared legally single.

After an over-year long messy and public process with performer and now ex-husband Kanye West, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star is officially single. According to an article on The Hollywood Reporter, this declaration comes with the judge's decision to allow for Kim's request to split the proceedings into two different parts.

In splitting the process, Kim Kardashian is, by law, divorced from Ye, effective immediately. However, the larger questions that need answering during a divorce-court process will continue on. Kanye West's lawyers set to put some holds on these decisions to only partial avail. One request which was denied by the judge was to put restrictions on Kardashian if she were to rapidly remarry before the entire divorce had been finalized.

The finish line is finally in sight for what became a contentious and long-drawn out divorce process. Looking back to when the divorce was originally filed for, a lot has changed. The two originally said that they intended to handle the process peacefully. Yet, in light of new relationships, rekindled passions, and new dramas, the public conflict of this divorce is one that has had everyone talking for months. Things escalated to Ye making death threats to Kim Kardashian's boyfriend Pete Davidson and Kim throwing her phone into the ocean.

We are so glad that the end of this long process is has almost arrived. We hope that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are able to find peace in this ending that will help themselves and their family.
