It's the second time in a couple of days that Netflix has been robbed, with theives breaking into two hugely popular shows' sets.

It was reported that robbers broke into two sets mid-production and stole more than half a million dollars' worth of props and equipment.

The first incident occurred on Thursday on the set of "The Crown" in Northern England, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Thieves entered into production cars and stole around 350 valuable objects, including fine diamonds, cutlery, and antiques, from the set. The stolen goods amounted to nearly 200K.

According to a statement released by the spokesperson of the streaming service and production business, "we can confirm the antiques have been stolen and we hope that they are found and returned safely." Netflix's rep added that replacements will be made so there is no need to anticipate delays in filming these widely-followed shows.

"It is reported that three vehicles containing props used in film and TV were broken into and a number of items taken. Officers investigated." the South Yorkshire Police said in a statement.

"Frenzied" searches for prop replacements are said to be underway by "The Crown's"e producers.

They said that these are not mere things, because they were sourced with a whole lot of effort and eye for detail in the first place. "Producers have an incredible eye for detail and every item was meticulously chosen. To lose the lot is just heartbreaking," a source familiar with the situation recently spilled. Since most of the stolen items were unique, replacements are not going to be easy to come by.

It was barely one day after the heist on the set of "The Crown" that another robbery occurred on the set of Netflix's Lupin. It's one of the streaming giant's most popular shows today.

Nearly 20 suspected robbers stormed onto the set and reportedly grabbed equipment while using pyrotechnics as a decoy, stealing about $330k in equipment this time. Oddly enough, Omar Sy, the actor who plays Omar on Lupin, was said to be on set when the crime occurred.

Netflix has confirmed that an incident occurred on February 25th while filming the forthcoming season of Lupin. No one was hurt on the set or on the set staff, the company assures.

Investigative teams are continuing looking into the robberies at Lupin and at The Crown. At this moment, there is no way to tell if the two instances are linked although they're too similar.
