Kanye West's Home Visited By Cops Hours After Divorce Hearing Decisions -- What Happened?
Kanye West is not only dealing with drama in his personal life and at home following the dramatic divorce hearing with Kim Kardashian, but he is also dealing with it professionally.
According to the Blast, police were called to the Yeezy mogul's Hidden Hills residence on Wednesday afternoon.
This is due to a break-in at the rapper's newly-purchased $4.5 million mansion, which was discovered. It wasn't long until he purchased the house, which was directly across the street from the massive property he and his ex-wife had constructed a few years before.
According to a source, the "Donda" rapper's staff was alerted to a break-in and phoned the authorities right away to investigate.
When the original article was published, police were still on the site, and it is now unclear whether or not the suspect has been apprehended.
Kanye West was not at home when the break-in occurred, and he is believed to be still in Miami at this time. An hour before his appearance with Khloe Kardashian's serial ex, Tristan Thompson, he was photographed out to dinner with a group of female friends on Wednesday.
Cops arriving at Ye's home comes hours after a judge signed off on the "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star becoming legally single.
She had been petitioning with a court incessantly to expedite the divorce proceedings despite the fact that her ex-husband was making things tough for her at every turn.
Kim said in her declaration that the rapper known for his song "Jesus Is King" refused to negotiate a financial settlement with her. She even maintained that since they had already signed a prenuptial agreement in 2014, there wasn't much to figure out about the situation.
It was stipulated in the same agreement that they would keep their wages separate during the term of their marriage.
Kim Kardashian added, "I believe that the Court terminating our marital status will help Kanye to accept that our marital relationship is over and to move forward on a better path which will assist us in peacefully co-parenting our children."
The fashion designer, on the other hand, opposed to the judge's approval of his ex-application, wife's alleging that he did not want any assets transferred.
Kim, on the other hand, responded by claiming that they did not have any common assets to move around.
During the hearing on Wednesday, the SKIMS tycoon stood before a judge via video conference and presented her case to him. It was during the same hearing that she was asked if there were any issues in their relationship, to which Kim responded affirmatively. "Yes," she said.
