Amy Schumer has a lot to say about the aftermath of the liposuction she underwent. She was candid about announcing to the world she had the procedure done, despite the normal backlash, and she is also being generous now in sharing what she feels about it. Did she regret the procedure?

Apparently not. It is safe to assume that the actress and author is quite pleased with the results of her liposuction treatment.

On Chelsea Handler's "Dear Chelsea" podcast, the 40-year-old comic, who will co-host the upcoming Oscars with Wanda Sykes and Regina Hall later this month, discussed the process and the effects.

The Emmy-winning actress, who is married to Chris Fischer, 42, and the mother of a two-year-old son named Gene, admitted to having liposuction. She said she never envisioned herself as getting the procedure done all her life. "Like when I would hear liposuction I was just like, that's so crazy to me, and I would say that I'm not ever going to do anything," she shared.

However, after recovering nicely from her pregnancy, she suddenly felt the desire to have a lipo. She proceeded to have it done and now said she's "feeling great."

Back on January 18, Schumer took to Instagram to express her appreciation to the doctors and nurses who helped restore her'strength back' after having liposuction and endometriosis-related surgery.

"I feel good" she said now on the podcast, joking that aging has something to do with her decision too. "Finally ... never thought i would do anything but talk to me after your uterus doesn't contract for 2.5 years and you turn 40," she said.

She also revealed in the podcast why she's quite open about this experience, despite it being still a taboo for some.

"I just wanted to say that, because if anybody sees me in pictures or anything and they're like, she looks thinner, and whatever: it's because I had a surgery," she told Handler. "It's too hard, and I just want to be real about it," she added.

Apart from opening up about the liposuction, she also got candid about her pregnancy problems. It appears from her statement that she has now stopped trying for a second baby, embracing the fact that she'll only have one child. It's not for the lack of trying though.

She said that they have tried IVF but it did not work out. "We tried and it didn't work - and now I don't have a uterus," she explained.

Instead of wallowing, she explained that she and her husband have now decided to just focus and enjoy having a small family.

"We tried, and we're just going to have the one perfect, little adorable angel," Schumer said.

She also said that she has a strong feeling baby Gene will be on the spectrum like his father - and she's prepared for it.

Michael Cera and Violet Young co-star with Amy Schumer in the new comedy series Life & Beth. This will debut on March 18 in Hulu.

The Oscars are scheduled to take place on Sunday, March 27, 2022 on ABC, at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PST.
