Angelina Jolie Lands Massive Deal with Fremantle Amid Ugly Divorce From Brad Pitt
Angelina Jolie savored another success amid her ugly divorce and legal battle against Brad Pitt.
Jolie's popularity continues to rise as the actress scored a multi-year deal with the production company Fremantle. She reportedly secured a three-year international filmmaking agreement with them following the contract signing.
In a news release posted by the company, Fremantle's Global CEO Jennifer Mullin said that they are thrilled to work with Jolie to help her expand her career as a producer, director, actor, and humanitarian.
"Fremantle and Angelina share the passion and ambition of telling compelling stories from everywhere in the world, for everyone in the world. We embrace and support the creative independence of our partners and look forward to working with Angelina to bring powerful and unique stories to a global audience," Mullin added.
In response to this, the "Maleficent" star revealed the thing she is looking most forward to in her partnership with Fremantle. In a separate press release, the actress said she wants to have the freedom to tell important stories and offer them to a global audience.
Jolie also expressed her excitement working with a passionate team that aims to have an international realm.
What Does the Agreement Include?
Upon signing the contract, Jolie will start working with Fremantle in developing and creating sophisticated and powerful documentaries, feature films, and original series, among others.
Instead of serving as an actress alone, she will also serve behind the cameras as a director and producer, depending on the company's focus and plans.
"Angelina Jolie and Fremantle share a global perspective on important storytelling, championing underserved and diverse voices from across the world," the news release went on.
Before securing the deal, Jolie has also been scheduled to direct and produce the feature film "Without Blood" in Italy.
The new update came after an expert shared his thoughts about Jolie and Brad Pitt's recent conflict about their winery. For what it's worth, the "Ad Astra" actor accused his estranged wife of offloading her stake in the Chateau Miraval estate without informing him.
Certified family law attorney David Glass told Fox News that the former couple established an agreement before their divorce, and it would play a huge role in court. Per the expert, the law of community property always requires the consent of the spouse.
Pitt and Jolie are yet to fix the dispute in the winery, as well as their custody battle despite finalizing their divorce in 2019.
