Ukrainian Actor Pasha Lee, 33, Killed By Russian Shelling While On The Front Lines; Odesa International Film Festival Calls For a Boycott of Russian Films
Pasha Lee, a Ukranian actor, was killed by Russian shelling while fighting for his country.
At the age of 33, the film star was in the front lines of battle during the ongoing Russian invasion. According to an article on TMZ, the performer was killed at the age of 33. He was known and admired by many for his work in films including Shtolnya, Shadows of Unforgotten Ancestors, Zvychayna Sprava, The Fight Rules, and Meeting of Classmates. The actor was multi-displinary, also doing a lot of work on stage and in music composition.
Last week, he took up arms to defend his country. According to an article on Deadline, he joined the Territorial Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He posted a picture to his Instagram account of himself serving. The translated caption of the photo reads, "For the last 48 hours there is an opportunity to sit down and take a picture of how we are being bombed, and we are smiling because we will manage and everything will be UKRAINE WE ARE WORKING !!!".
