Kanye West has taken to Instagram again, and, as is per usual, it sparks a series of instantaneous questions.

In Ye's most recent appearance on social media, he posted a still clip from his most recent music video. He chose the picture of an animated house on fire. This music video, which was for the singer's new song Eazy, was under fire recently. Why? Within the video, it showed a claymation version of himself murdering Saturday Night Live star Pete Davidson. The video ended with a text screen that read, "Everyone lived happily ever after, except," then the word, "Skete," with several lines through it followed by, "you know who."

In what seems to be a response to the understandable backlash to the video, West has taken to his Instagram today. The caption beneath the still clip reads, "Art is therapy just like this view. Art is protected as freedom of speech. Art inspires and simplifies the world. Art is not a proxy for any ill or harm. Any suggestion otherwise about my art is false and mal intended." Through this, he is clearly saying that any interpretation of his video as violent is incorrect.

Many questions, however, have arisen in terms of Pete Davidson's safety. While West has said that he doesn't want to incite violence against him, these consistent allusions to it are cause for rising concern.

We hope that in light of the current official divorce cases, some of this may soon settle down.
