Caitlyn Jenner Barred From New 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians'? Reason Revealed
There will be no appearances by Caitlyn Jenner in the new Hulu series The Kardashians, despite the fact that she was a major factor in the sale of the original program of the Kardashian family. Was she barred? Did she specifically want no part of the new show? Is she no longer considered family?
Variety recently spoke with Kris Jenner and her daughters to promote their next project on the streaming service, which is set to debut next month.
Kris' capacity to earn a lot of money for the family was highlighted by the article. She's the reason why the show is not at its new home in Hulu E's! contract with the family expired in September 2020; she helped them find a new home at Hulu. The show's format and whether or not it will be similar to "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" have been the subject of much speculation. Fans will just have to wait and see.
Caitlyn Jenner Barred From New 'KUTWK'?
The show would have at least two seasons, each with 20 episodes, according to the family. The most shocking revelation was the removal of Caitlyn from the program. In spite of her breakup with Kris and their public dispute, Caitlyn remained on "KUTWK" for the full season.
In the early 2000s, when E! picked up the program, Caitlyn's famous status as a former Olympian was a selling factor, as reported by Radar Online. The show would go on to become a reality hit. But it's apparent that the game has changed now. All of the Kardashian-Jenner clan members are famous in their own right, and can sell the show in their own capacity.
Bye Rob Kardashian Too?
Also, according to the report, Rob Kardashian is also no longer a regular cast member. He's not going to vanish from it completely though because the family said he might do a cameo or two. It's not clear why he's no longer a series regular, whether it was his decision or not. Toward the conclusion of the show, he wasn't filming as frequently, and he's always appeared to prefer a more low-key role.
Blac Chyna, Rob's ex-fiancée, is also suing him in court. It appears that she is suing him for revenge porn after she was subjected to mental distress when he posted naked images of herself on the internet. In addition, he sued his ex-girlfriend for assault, which she contested, but the case was dropped only days before the trial was to begin.
