Jennifer Lawrence Shares Biggest Wish After Giving Birth, Names Fave TikTok User
During an appearance on the Netflix podcast Present Company, Jennifer Lawrence admitted that she spends her free time on TikTok viewing videos of young animals, especially baby goats. This seems to bring her the most joy after entering a new phase in her life: motherhood.
The 31-year-old Oscar winner said she and husband Cooke Maroney daydream of living away from the rush and bustle of city life, despite owning houses in the West Village and Beverly Hills.
According to the Kentucky native, who just gave birth to her first kid, whose gender and name are yet to be revealed, her TikTok algorithm is mostly baby goats.
There are a few recipes, but it's really about farm life, including cats and animals, according to the actress.
At the host's request, actress Krista Smith raved over TikToker @mommyfarmer's Rebecca Pyle, who controls the account showing off the baby goats.
"Her goat had triplets," Lawrence raved. "And there was a really tiny one that we didn't think was going to make it through the night. And she did and her name is Ruthie and she is doing beautifully."
There are more than two million people who follow Smith's Instagram account, which he keeps up on a historic farm in Missouri.
In her films, she takes her children and over 50 animals, including ducks and pigs, on trips.
It can be recalled that the "Hunger Games" and "Don't Look Up" actress admitted that TikTok is the most used app on her phone.
She said she's not proud of it. "I'm on it. But I'm a voyeur: I watch, I don't speak," she revealed to InStyle. In short, she'd rather lurk than be active.
Fans would love to see her bust some TikTok moves or make some funny TikTok videos, but she personally finds the idea funny. "'No! I don't make TikToks! Oh my god, can you imagine? No. No," she said, after being asked if she'll ever make one.
The only reason she'll probably do something on the platform is to promote. "I don't want to put myself out there for no reason. Unless I'm promoting something or something really burns my onions, you won't hear from me," she said.
She's more active on Twitter, using the social media platform to go public with her views on politics, racial prejudice, and corruption, especially in 2020.
