The superstar performer was set to have a starring role in this Paramount Players comedy feature, but, according to an exclusive on Deadline, she pulled herself out of the project right before production was about to begin. This trend comes shortly after Demi Lovato similarly pulled out of a leading role in the upcoming NBC series Hungry right before filming started.
The filming for the comedy titled Assisted Living was all set to begin. It had $30 million backing it. However, once Cardi B withdrew herself from the leading role, the entire production was scratched. Cast and crew have been told that this hold is only temporary.
Why Did Cardi B Pull Out Of "Assisted Living"?
Why did Cardi B back out of this role? She was overextended. That comes as no surprise: she is an INCREDIBLY busy individual. Between performing, acting, and working to be a genuinely good person who effects positive change in the world, a quick glance at any tabloid will assure you that she is literally doing everything possible. She's also currently backing down haters who are cyberbullying her TWO YEAR OLD child! Like, come on internet. Be better.
