"Yo It's Skete": Pete Davidson Stands Up to Kanye West! Here's What He Said!
Pete Davidson is done staying silent when it comes to Kanye West.
Kanye West has been very public during his on-going divorce with ex-wife Kim Kardashian. He has also been very vocal when it comes to his disapproval of her current boyfriend and space-bound Saturday Night Live star Pete Davidson. Davidson, who is well known for his near silence on social media and has remained quietly supportive of the Keeping Up with the Kardashians alum during this trying time, has had enough.
Over the weekend, Dave Sirus, Davidson's friend, shared in a now deleted Instagram post a text conversation between Davidson and West according to an article on People. After months of threats and harassment from Ye, the actor has called him out over his relentless mistreatment of his ex-wife. Davidson wrote:
"Yo it's Skete. Can you please take a second and calm down. It's 8AM and it don't gotta be like this. Kim is literally the best mother I've ever met. What she does for those kids is amazing and you're so f****** lucky that she's your kids' mom. I've decided I'm not gonna let you treat us this way anymore, and I'm done being quiet. Grow the f*** up."
When Ye went on to ask Davidson where he was, the comedian quipped, "In bed with your wife." He then sent a picture to the rapper. In the picutre, some eagle-eyed fans spotted a new addition on Pete's tapestry of tatoos. On the upper right side of Pete's upper body, there appears to be a small tatoo that says, "Kim," right next to the side-eyed skull.
If anyone was looking for a guide in how to stand up for your girlfriend, this is the one. He implored West to keep the details of the divorce to himself, saying, "What you are doing to your family is dangerous and going to scar them for life. Please handle these matters privately bro I beg you."
Even through all of this, Davidson offered support for Ye's mental health. He texted:
"Let me help you man. I struggle with mental stuff too. It's not an easy journey. You don't have to feel this way anymore. There's no shame in having a little help. You'll be so happy and at peace."
If Davidson isn't already set to win the good-guy-of-the-year award, his further admittance of the things he has actively done to protect Kanye while consistently being berated and threatened by him are the icing on the cake.
"You have no idea how nice I've been to you despite your actions towards me. I've stopped SNL from talking about or making fun of you which they've wanted to do for months. I've stopped stand up comedians from doing bits about you cause I don't want the father of my girl's kids to look bad out there. I have your back even though you treat me like sh** because I want everything to be smooth. But if you continue to press me like you have for the past 6 months I'm gonna stop being nice."
Mic drop.
