Earlier today, Paramount released a featurette called "Becoming Dash," where Channing Tatum reveals what it was like to play Dash McMahon in the romantic adventure comedy film, "The Lost City." In the film, Tatum plays a romance book cover model who is swept up in a mission to save Sandra Bullock's Loretta Sage, the author of the romance series he often adorns the covers of, from Daniel Radcliffe's eccentric billionaire Abigail Fairfax.

In "Becoming Dash," the actor mentions that he thinks that Dash is "out of his mind and jokes about how his character is only allowed to have one button buttoned at a time. Tatum's costars join in on the fun, with Bullock remarking that when Tatum stepped out of his dressing room in the Dash costume for the first time, "the hair exited first." Radcliffe quipped that Tatum is a "brilliant actor," particularly when he continues to search for light after blowing out a candle.

In a truly inspired joke, Tatum deadpans, "I was pretty nervous about the whole wig situation. I wasn't ready for what it was going to do to me like spiritually? Just sort of like, suction cups to my head, and all of sudden, Dash was there...I sort of blacked out. The wig is actually in control. It manipulates you, and you're just a pawn in its game."

If this featurette is any indication of the kind of humor we have in store for "The Lost City," then audiences are in for a fun time. With the ribbing of Dash, the chemistry of the cast was on full display in a heartwarming fashion.

"The Lost City" is set for its wide theatrical release on March 25, 2022.
