If you're out and about in New Jersey and you happen to catch a glimpse of Pete Davidson covered in blood (or you see it flash by on your Twitter timeline) don't worry - it's not because of Kanye West, or his fans.

Pete hasn't been bloodied by any brutal fan or anything like that: He's covered in fake blood for the filming of a new movie that he's in.

Fans have reason to be concerned, especially after Kanye put out his music video for "EAZY," which depicts him kidnapping Davidson, burying him alive, and growing flowers out of his head.

Produced by Miramax, the film is called The Home, and it's about a young man named Max working at a retirement home who finds out that the sweet old people who live there...really aren't so sweet. In fact, some of them have some serious stuff in their pasts. Stuff so serious that it lands Max in a heap of trouble...and, clearly, covered in blood.

The film is from the mind of James DeMonaco, most famous for creating and bringing to life the infamously chilling watershed horror series The Purge. With a resume like that, you know this movie is going to be good - and is also probably going to be scary as hell.

All that said, we're glad Davidson hasn't been hurt after standing up to Kanye over text this weekend. Things seem to be cooling down between these two dudes and Kim Kardashian...let's hope it stays that way.

(We know. It won't.)
