Paramount Wins Distribution Rights for Sasha Luss, Wallis Day, Isabelle Fuhrman, Skai Jackson, and Jack Kesy-led 'Sheroes' Film
Ready for your next group of female action stars? Paramount announced that they won the worldwide distribution rights to "Sheroes," an action-thriller set in Thailand starring Sasha Luss, Wallis Day, Isabelle Fuhrman, Skai Jackson, and Jack Kesy.
Skai Jackson is an up and comer to watch: She got her start on the show Jesse on the Disney Channel (and also earned her place in meme history), and has also been featured on A Black Lady Sketch Show, and will play Patty in the upcoming movie The Man In The White Van, now in post-production.
Written and directed by "Spring Breakers" producer Jordan Gertner, the film follows a group of girl friends who go on a trip to Thailand, only to be entangled with the local cartel. The four friends and their friendships must survive as they navigate this foreign environment.
As quoted in Deadline, Gertner said, "I am so thrilled to be partnered with this incredible group of actors. It has been such a joy to watch these strong, talented women kick ass and save the day as they bring 'Sheroes' to life. Working with Paramount, whose many iconic films have served as an inspiration to me throughout my life, is a dream come true."
