In an unusually open interview with Vogue magazine, Bella Hadid discussed her struggles with mental health and her physical transformation.

During the interview, the 25-year-old model disclosed that she had a nose job at the age of 14 and now regrets it. She previously stated that she had never had any plastic surgery.

Bella also opened up on her difficulties with body image and mental health, admitting that she has always felt "ugly" and "uncool" in comparison to her older sister Gigi, as well as reflecting on her fight with anorexia and seeking depression treatment.

"I was the uglier sister," Bella, 25, revealed in her Vogue cover story for the fashion magazine's April 2022 issue.

"And unfortunately when you get told things so many times, you do just believe it," she added.

It came into a point that she thought she'll never make the modeling business.

The half-Palestinian, half-Dutch model said she wished she had retained her "ancestors' nose." She said with time, she would have "grown into it."

In the United States, there are no particular regulations governing cosmetic surgery, however rhinoplasty can be performed once the nose has finished 90% of its growth, which can happen as early as age 13 in girls.

Dr Julian de Silva, a top Harley Street surgeon, compared photos of Bella from today and ten years ago and told Mail Online UK such transformation would not have happened without surgical help.

While she's being generous about what she has done on her face, Bella Hadid is vehemently doing anything else apart from getting a nose job. After all, there are so many reports of her having gone after the knife to get the face she has now.

"'People think I fully f***ed with my face because of one picture of me as a teenager looking puffy. I'm pretty sure you don't look the same now as you did at 13, right," she said. She also said she never used fillers and it's about time that accusation dies down.

"I have never used filler. Let's just put an end to that. I have no issue with it, but it's not for me. Whoever thinks I've gotten my eyes lifted or whatever it's called - it's face tape! The oldest trick in the book," she said.
