'What, Like It's Hard?' Multi-Talented Reese Witherspoon Releases a New Children's Book!
Reese Witherspoon has released a new kids' book, and it is inspired by the actress' own life.
Reece Witherspoon, the face of the classic film Legally Blonde, the mind behind the production company Hello Sunshine, and one of the powerhouse players of Apple TV+'s The Morning Show has come out with a children's book. There is literally nothing Witherspoon can't do!
According to an exclusive interview with People, Witherspoon has long wanted to create a children's book. She said:
"I've been thinking about creating a children's book with realistic young female characters since I had my daughter...When I was a kid, I had a busy brain with a million ideas and more energy than most adults could manage so, Betty is really based on adventures from my childhood...This book was born out of my own upbringing...I was always singing, dancing and exploring."
The book is titled Busy Betty, and it follows a girl named Betty who is tasked with the shockingly difficult mission of giving her dog a bath before her friend comes over. Witherspoon hopes the book will engage and encourage young readers everywhere.
"I'm thrilled to share Busy Betty with the world...and hope it inspires kids, especially little girls, to be creative, curious, and explore their entrepreneurial spirit."
We can't wait to give it a read once it hits the shelves on October 4th.
