Hey, Fans Of 'The Office'...You Might Wanna Read Peacock's Terms Of Service (You'll Thank Us Later)
ATTENTION, FANS OF THE OFFICE: We hope you read Peacock's terms of service before you signed up for that Premium plan we know you have.
Huh? No, no, they didn't put any hidden fee or weird clause that signs your identity away to Creed or anything...but that annoyingly long document does contain something else, something that fans have been after since 2009.
That's right folks: The Peacock Terms of Service Agreement contains the recipe for Kevin's Famous Chili.
Now, of course, coming from NBC themselves, we have no choice but to term this the definitive recipe for Kevin's Famous Chili.
The discovery was made by Reddit user FromClevelandLantis, who posted the screenshot to the r/BingingWithBabish subreddit - a subreddit dedicated to the YouTube series Binging With Babish, in which home cook and film enthusiast Andrew Rea cooks famous foods from movies and television.
Rea did Kevin's Chili on his show a long time ago, but he's known to revisit old recipes from time to time when it becomes clear he did something wrong. Although, it is worth noting that his fans already went over it, and the only difference between his recipe and this one is chopped chuck meat vs ground, the mashing of the kidney beans, and the addition of tomato paste.
Also worth noting - apparently a review of this recipe by The Takeout found that it was a little watery, and that it needed more kick and some acidity to really bring it together. Still, it was good enough that, they concluded, it is indeed sad to see it spilled on the floor.
