Teresa Giudice Not the First 'Real Housewives' Star Who Got Hospitalized in Recent Months
Earlier this year, the "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Lisa Vanderpump was also sent to the hospital after a harrowing incident that happened in Los Angeles, California.
The 61-year-old TV personality was reportedly riding her horse at The Paddock Riding Club when the animal "got spooked, reared up and bucked her off."
The incident led her body to fly over the horse's head and landed "squarely on her back," resulting in her being hospitalized and undergoing surgery.
Vanderpump suffered major pain, a bruised back, and her leg was fractured in three places.
Days after the accident, her husband, Ken Todd, spoke to People Magazine, saying he thinks it would be the last time his wife would ride a horse despite the animal being "gentle."
The reason why the horse acted differently at the time was that something "spooked" the animal.
"It's one of those things that happens in life," he noted.
At the time of the accident, Todd couldn't believe what happened to his wife, saying he was in total shock.
"I was in shock. I ran over there and she was just on the floor. And she knew that she'd broken her leg straight away," he added.
