Triple H Retirement: Wrestler Leaving WWE Due to Near Death Experience?
After 27 years of wrestling for WWE, Triple H, one of the entertainment company's most renowned wrestlers, announced his retirement; was his health the reason why he's leaving?
Taking to their social media accounts, WWE shared the official announcement that the wrestler is retiring from wrestling.
According to Screen Rant, a surprising statement comes after Triple H appeared in an interview on "First Take" with Stephen A. Smith, where he revealed a shocking secret about his health.
The athlete said he had circumstances that ultimately led to cardiac catheterization, and the condition meant a lot for his family, especially his three daughters. He has a defibrillator in his chest.
Triple H Shares Near-Death Moment Because of Health
In the interview, Triple H said he had viral pneumonia that made his lungs inflamed, saying his sickness got increasing worse when he got home, and his wife noticed that he was coughing blood.
By the time he went for a check-up, the doctor had said the blood had come from pneumonia, but they found out that he had fluid in his lungs and heart.
He was advised to get tested for monitoring; then, the doctors found out that his ejection fraction went down to 30, compared to the standard rate that's 50 to 60.

Later, the athlete got a text message, saying he should pack a bag and go to the emergency room immediately.
His ejection fraction ultimately went down to 22, then 12, which was already heart failure.
When asked about his future inside the wrestling ring, Triple H answered, "As far as in-ring, which I get a lot, I'm done. I will never again."
Triple H's Successful WWE Career
Per the outlet, Triple H is one of WWE's most iconic wrestlers of all time. Born Paul Michael Levesque, the athlete has gone by many stage names in his career before settling with "Triple H."
He was previously known as Terra Ryzing, Jean-Paul Levesque, and Hunter Hearst Helmsley.
Throughout his career, he's also known for his feud with other wrestlers like Mr. McMahon, The Undertaker, The Rock, and Shawn Michaels.
In 2010, Triple H became WWE's Executive Senior Advisor.
At the time of this writing, the wrestler has not confirmed whether he will be stepping down from his role in the company in addition to his wrestling retirement.
