Shane Warne's daughter, Summer, has a heartfelt message to her father who she lost recently.

Warne's management company, MPC Entertainment, confirmed to CNN earlier this month that the legendary Australian cricketer had died. He was reportedly found unresponsive inside his villa in Koh Samui, Thailand, before transporting him to a Thai International Hospital, where he was declared dead.

Weeks after his tragic passing, his daughter, Summer, shared a heart-wrenching post on Instagram as she continues to live her life without her beloved father.

On her Instagram Stories, Summer shared a quote from an anonymous author to express her heartbreak after Warne's passing. The message also delivered positivity amid the dark days.

"When we lose someone we love, we must learn not to live without them, but to live with the love they left behind," the post said.

She added two white hearts to the image and let her followers find comfort in the post.

Summer spoke candidly about feeling that her time with Warne was robbed and how she would do anything to be with him again for the last time. She took her time to share everything she would miss about her father, including the patriarch's soft voice whenever he told her he was proud of her or that everything would be okay.

Her new update came days after the daughter uploaded a TikTok video showing a montage of Warne during his time on the field as a cricketer. It also included photos of her and Warne as they danced together in her videos.

What Happened to Shane Warne?

When Warne's body was found inside his home, his close friend and associate Andrew Neophitou reportedly tried to revive him but failed, Herald Sun reported, per Fox Sports.

MPC Entertainment first assumed that he died due to a heart attack. While the family asked for privacy amid the trying times, they opened his state memorial service to the public.

Before his death, Warne followed a 14-day liquid-only diet. His manager, James Erskine, described it as extreme and ridiculous.

Daily Mail also noted that he suffered from a severe case of COVID-19 in London last year. The dreaded disease reportedly left him in a ventilator to help him recover. A few months later, he contracted the virus again but assured that the second time only felt like a flu.

Shane Warne's death happened while the athlete was taking his three-month break after his continuous commentating gigs in the UK and Australia.
