Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave embraced a major change in her life following a recent health scare.

Mellencamp recently underwent a skin cancer biopsy after getting melanoma in one area of her skin. Two days after receiving the good news about the cancer cell not spreading in any part of her body, the "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star cut her long blonde locks for a major hair change.

In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE, the 40-year-old "Two Ts in a Pod" host said that she tends to change things whenever something major happens in her life. She made it happen with the help of an LA-based hairstylist who cut and colored her hair after removing her extensions.

"This time I chopped my hair after finding out that my melanoma was stage 0 and contained in the area that was removed," Mellencamp Arroyave said. "I can say that it feels good to have a fresh, healthy cut at this moment."

She shared her transformations by uploading before and after video on Instagram. The matriarch even surprised everyone that her children joined her in her hair change journey.

In the said Instagram video, her 9-year-old daughter Slate and 7-year-old Cruz flaunted their platinum hair while dancing with their mom.

"No, the magic trick wasn't making Dove disappear. She just wasn't ready to enter her blonde era with the rest of us. Ps. How many days until I regret the bob?" she wrote in the caption.

She also shared the same reel on her Instagram Story and told her followers that they like to experiment.

Mellencamp Arroyave and her kids' move came after the reality star revealed on Instagram last month that her friend and former "RHOBH" co-star, Kyle Richards, urged her to remove a mole from her back.

On March 17, she reminded her followers to get their yearly skin checks since she skipped hers for a long time due to her anxiety. Richards reportedly saw her back's mole and how it changed colors again.

After the incident, they reportedly went to a doctor who told them that it looked like melanoma. She immediately had it removed and underwent a biopsy to check whether the cancer had spread in any part of her body. Fortunately, the dreaded cells did not spread any deeper.
