Amanda Bynes Removes Old Facial Tattoo, Unveils New Inks After Conservatorship Ended
Very fresh ink! Not just one - but 3! After removing the heart-shaped tattoo from her face, Amanda Bynes added a trio of tattoos to her ink collection.
In her first public appearance since her conservatorship was ended earlier this month, the 35-year-old former star of "The Amanda Show" revealed the new art pieces on her skin on Tuesday, March 29.
Bynes had the name Paul tattooed on her wrist in a gothic style, maybe in honor of her fiancé, Paul Michael, in the photos. It was accompanied by a brilliant red rose picture and the cursive word "d-k" on her bicep. An all-white outfit with camouflage leggings and sunglasses was the star's go-to look on Tuesday.
Before Bynes showed off her new tattoos after she talked openly about getting rid of her previous facial tattoo earlier this month.
A March 9 Instagram video by the "She's the Man" actress showed the progress she's made in removing her December 2019 heart tattoo.
When the nine-year conservatorship over her person was finally lifted, the California native - who has a tattoo on her leg reading "See you on the other side" - celebrated a big win.
A temporary conservatorship was put in place for Bynes in August 2013 after a series of mental health and drug misuse difficulties.
Lynn Bynes, her mother, was appointed conservator of her daughter's health care and personal affairs a year after she was first appointed. Her guardianship was revoked on March 22, according to TMZ.

As part of a mental capacity declaration in February, the former child star requested that her conservatorship be terminated, citing her ability to care for herself.
"What's up Instagram, Amanda Bynes here," the Big Fat Liar actress said in an Instagram video earlier this month. "My court date is coming up in two weeks. I want to thank you all so much for your love and support. Peace out."
Lynn filed a declaration of support for her daughter's intentions before the final decision was made.
Amanda Bynes' liberation from her conservatorship follows that of another famous liberation - that of Britney Spears' becoming free from her own conservatorship after 13 years. Probably unlike Spears however, no family drama ensued. Bynes' parents were quite happy that their daughter is now okay.
"[Amanda's] doing great both physically and mentally. It's beyond gratifying to know her parents and of course [Paul] Michael are by her side," an insider shared to Us Weekly.
"Her folks are very happy for her. They adore Amanda and always prayed and believed there would be an end to those dark and unhappy days when she was struggling. Seeing her display so much courage and heart makes them proud."
