In the wake of Teresa and Joe Giudice's recent indictment of bankruptcy and bank fraud, rumors of a divorce have fueled for The Housewives of New Jersey reality star couple.

After the court hearing Tuesday, Teresa's lawyer's Henry Klingman hinted some possible problems in the future for the two.

"It's almost invariably true that in federal criminal cases such as this one, the judge requires each defendant to have their own attorney," he said. "It reflects the ethical rules so the lawyers avoid conflicts of interest. Even if people are on the same page like a husband and wife, they could theoretically go in different directions at some point in the future."

Meanwhile, Enstars reported earlier that its still unclear if the couple will return to the RHONJ.

The season 5 reunion show has not been filmed and season 6 begins taping in the fall.

The bad publicity is especially not looking for Teresa, who recently pitched her own reality show to Bravo.

"They are not interested," a source said "Bravo only spins off happy situations - marriages, baby news. Not prison."

Bravo has yet to comment.

Teresa broke her silence via Twitter on Wednesday.

"Thank you all so so much for your love and support. It means the world to me and my family," she wrote. "I wish I could hug you all right now."

Teresa and Joe were charged in a 39-count indictment in a conspiracy to defraud lenders and illegally obtain mortgages during a bankruptcy case.

The two reportedly submitted fraudulent mortgage and other loan applications from 2001 through 2008, a year before their show aired on the Bravo network.

Teresa released a statement through her lawyer soon after the news broke.

"Today is a most difficult day for our family," she said. "I support Joe and, as a wonderful husband and father, I know he wants only the best for our lovely daughters and me."
