Tiger Woods finally shared a hint about whether or not he would join The Masters amid his recovery.

The Masters will start its event on Thursday at Augusta National Golf Club in Georgia. As it approaches faster than expected, many golf fans have been wondering whether Woods could make it to the event.

After weeks of being silent, the 46-year-old World's No. 1 shared a little hope on Twitter, saying he would make a game-time decision for the tournament. According to Woods, he was jetting to Augusta to complete his preparation and practice before The Masters.

"I will be heading up to Augusta today to continue my preparation and practice. It will be a game-time decision on whether I compete. Congratulations to 16-year-old Anna Davis on an amazing win at the @anwagolf and good luck to all the kids in the @DriveChipPutt," he wrote.

The Masters' website still has his name on its page, joining the golfers who have not declined yet. Other participants include Mexico's Abraham Ancer, US' Daniel Berger and Patrick Cantlay, South Africa's Christiaan Bezuidenhout, and Canada's Corey Conners, among others.

Golf Channel has since clarified that the players would remain on the list until they formally express their desire not to be part of the event. Still, Woods could reportedly quit as late as the week of the event.

Tiger Woods Having Second Thoughts in Returning

Before announcing his travel to Augusta, Woods already revealed that his golf activity remains limited following the near-death car crash that caused him injuries.

"I wish I could tell you when I'm playing again," he said, as quoted by PEOPLE. "I want to know, but I don't. My golf activity has been minimal. I can chip and putt really well and hit short irons very well, but I haven't done any long stuff seriously. I'm still working. Like at the PNC, I'm still working on the walking part."

Woods also said that, although he could easily walk on a treadmill, walking on a golf course is a different subject since there are undulations in the area.

But it is worth noting that he already appeared on the course again during PNC Championship at the Ritz-Carlton Golf Club in Orlando, Florida, with his 12-year-old son, Charlie Woods. He said that it became an exciting way to end his long and challenging year.
