Blac Chyna vs the Kardashians: Model Taking Family to Court Over THIS Reason
Blac Chyna is determined to take the famous Kardashian-Jenner clan to court again five years after first filing a lawsuit against the family, saying they influenced the production to cancel her and ex Rob's "Rob & Chyna" reality series.
According to People Magazine, the music video model shared an update regarding her trial against Kardashian matron Kris Jenner and three of her daughters.
The mom of two took to her Twitter account to announce that she's refocusing her attention on the case, and the trial will take place later this month.
"When they got my No. 1 hit show killed back in January 2017, that not only hurt me financially and emotionally, that hurt my beautiful KIDS," she added.
The reason why she's taking the family to court is to stand up for her legal rights and be an example to her children that "what's right is right, what's wrong is wrong."
The model emphasized that what the family did to her was so wrong.
"I am so thankful that a jury will finally listen to what really happened behind closed doors - the lies that were told and the damage that was done," she added.
She concluded her statement by saying she would be able to tell her kids proudly that she did everything to correct all the wrong things that were done to her by the end of the trial.
According to legal documents initially filed in 2017, Chyna alleged that she suffered "significant damages," after her ex-fiance, Rob Kardashian, leaked her nude photos in an online tirade.
She claimed that the incident and the Kardashian women's influence led E! to cancel her reality series after one season.
In the complaint, Chyna alleged that Rob is an "abuser" and intended to destroy her career. As revenge, the Kardashian-Jenner family became "media predators" and started to slut-shame her online.
Last month, Rob Kardashian asked the court to dismiss a separate assault and battery lawsuit filed in 2017.
In a dismissal request obtained by the outlet, the father of one said he would not proceed with the litigation for the sake of their daughter Dream.
Blac Chyna's lawyer, Lynne Ciani, issued a statement at the time, saying they were turning their attention to the lawsuit, and the jury trial will be on April 15 in Los Angels Superior Court.
As of this writing, Kris Jenner, Kim, Kourtney, and Khloe Kardashian have not publicly commented on the matter.
