What OJ Simpson Did to Nicole Brown Simpson
Simpson served nine of the possible 33 years of imprisonment, but it was not related to Nicole's death as the charges were from the conviction in 2008 on 12 counts of felony armed robbery and kidnapping. He reportedly led a crime in 2007, assisting five men in stealing his alleged memorabilia at a Las Vegas hotel.
However, he was never served his prison time after being acquitted of murdering his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman. In 1994, Nicole and her family went for dinner at a restaurant in Los Angeles where Goldman worked as a waiter.
Ron then went to Nicole's home afterward to return the glasses her mother left at the restaurant. However, he never came back alive as both Nicole and Ron were stabbed to death around midnight.
Simpson was in the area at the time of the incident but took a late flight to Chicago immediately.
The runningback infamously refused to surrender to the police he continuously road his Ford Bronco with his friend, Al Cowlings. Cowlings told the police that Simpson was suicidal and had a gun to his head, that was why he could not pull over.
After all the chasings and attempts to arrest Simpson, it took them years before he was found guilty and received corresponding sentences.
"I certainly don't' think he deserves any sympathy. He's alive, he's free. He can do anything he wants. Everything my son can't do, out of all the things he wished for," Ron's father, Fred, told Daily News.
