Meghan Markle Wouldn't Have Gotten THIS Without Prince Harry, Commentator Says
Did Prince Harry open up so much for Meghan Markle?
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex left the royal family as senior members in March 2020. They later moved to the US with their kids Archie Harrison and Lilibet Diana.
The couple are currently receiving a lot of publicity and fame two years after their controversial exit.
However, a US critic said that if she hadn't married the royal, the former "Suits" actress would have gone unnoticed-just like how she was as a B-list celebrity.
Lee Cohen claimed that the pair drew his ire because they had treated the British royal family terribly since their departure, thinking that criticizing them would be counterproductive.
"They got what they wished for. They took a step back, and they've already gained infamy."
He went on to claim that if Meghan hadn't married Prince Harry, they wouldn't have received the kind of attention they have now.
Since standing aside as senior royal family members, the duo has earned multimillion-dollar deals with Spotify and Netflix.
According to royal expert Neil Sean, this is just their second significant transaction. And, as a consequence of the sluggish pace of these negotiations, the number of deals has decreased.
In his YouTube video, he advised the Duke and Duchess of Sussex that "it's not as simple or as straightforward as you may imagine."
"You have to think about material, and then you have to develop it, write it, and maybe gain an audience on top of all that."
He went on to explain that being a large celebrity, such as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, is now a greater challenge than having a "golden time."
It implies it's time to sign them and invite them to venues like the Oscars and other A-list celebrity events.
Neil said that massive deals are already being offered, including a book contract for Prince Harry, "however he's going to have to deliver," which will undoubtedly damage and humiliate the monarchy in order to ensure that the people receive the most bang for their dollars.
He said that the couple's next level of material to the public now "hangs in the balance."
If it is a big success, they will get even more money. However, Neil feels that in the volatile world of Hollywood, if it doesn't click with the public, they should anticipate a significant drop in the proposals and agreements they are receiving.
