Kenan Thompson and his wife Christina Evangeline have apparently chosen to divorce after 15 years of marriage.

The "Saturday Night Live" cast member and Evangeline have apparently been apart for more than a year while they co-parent their two children, Georgia, 7, and Gianna, 3.

Despite the fact that they have been apart for over a year, no divorce papers have been filed. However, it is anticipated to happen shortly, according to TMZ.

The former Nickelodeon sensation is one of television's busiest personalities, working in Los Angeles for his NBC comedy "Kenan" and flying to New York City for the 19th season of "Saturday Night Live."

Meanwhile, his estranged wife works as an actress and interior designer and spends much of her time in New York.

According to divorce sources, Kenan and Christina drifted apart over time but remained great friends while co-parenting their children.

Christina met the comedian when she was just 19 years old. They dated for four years before marrying in 2011 at the Atlanta Aquarium.

Kenan Thompson 'SNL'

Kenan Thompson's 2022 has had its ups and downs. However, in March, he celebrated his 1,500th sketch on "Saturday Night Live," and solidified his legend with a skit playing Gus Van Tant.

The character is a "host of a home repair program interviewing folks whose home-improvement errors have turned into massive DIY disasters," according to Consequence.

Kenan is also the longest-serving cast member of "SNL" in the show's 47-year history. He became a part of the cast in 2003 and is still an active member to this day.

If he stays on the award-winning variety show until 2023, Kenan Thompson will have been a part of it for 20 seasons.

He also has a program called "Kenan," which stars Chris Red, Kimrie Lewis, Don Johnson, Fortune Feimster, Dani, and Dannah Lane, in addition to "SNL."
