Prince Harry and Meghan Markle might have finally fixed their issues with Prince Charles as they visited him and Queen Elizabeth II this week.

Ahead of the Invictus Games in The Netherlands, multiple news outlets confirmed that Prince Harry and Meghan returned to the UK for the first time since leaving the country in March 2020. They came back to Europe ahead of the Duke of Sussex's fifth Invictus Games in The Hague.

A spokesperson for the Sussexes confirmed on Monday that Meghan would join her husband for the first several days of the Invictus Games. But before this year's event happens, they reportedly had a peace summit with Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Charles.

"We can confirm that they visited the duke's grandmother, as we previously said he hoped to do," said the spokesperson. "They stopped by the UK on their way to the Hague to attend the Invictus Games."

Vanity Fair quoted a report from a saying that Prince Harry and Meghan had a meeting with the monarch and the heir to the throne. It remains unknown what they tackled during the reunion, but royal experts believed it just made the royal rift quiet down after being set aside for a long time.

Prince Harry, Meghan Markle Make It Up to Queen Elizabeth, Prince Charles?

The duo's visit together came after delivering their shocking interview with Oprah Winfrey. At that time, they did not speak anything ill about Queen Elizabeth, but they did share damaging stories about Prince Charles.

For what it's worth, they named several members of the royal family who made their lives harder, including Prince Charles. Prince Harry also revealed that a royal directly asked him about his children's skin tone. However, he did note that it was not Queen Elizabeth II, not Prince Philip, who asked him the question, thus, leaving the remaining senior royals as the culprit behind the revelation.

Journalist Christopher Andersen eventually confirmed that the Duke of Sussex was indeed referring to his father, sharing more details in his book, "Brothers and Wives: Inside the Private Lives of William Kate, Harry, and Meghan."

"The morning of November 17, 2017-the day Harry and Meghan announced their engagement-Prince Charles and Camilla were discussing the couple when Charles reportedly asked, "I wonder what the children will look like?" the book claimed.

Camilla looked shocked by his question and told him that the Sussexes' children would surely be absolutely gorgeous. However, Prince Charles did not stop there and clarified that he was curious about what would the children's complexion be.
