Amber Heard 'Abusive,' Johnny Depp ‘Peaceful and Shy,’ Personal Assistant Says
The defamation trial between Johnny Depp and Amber Heard is certainly in full swing. Like always, evidence of one camp lying is coming out one after another. This time, it's Amber Heard who is said to be lying, about the bruises she sustained from Depp. Evidence? Kate James - her assistant.
According to James, if there is anyone abusive here, it's Amber Heard. She has suffered under the actress, claiming the latter had gone "completely berserk" on her, screaming at her.
Needless to say, on April 14, Johnny Depp's defamation trial against Amber Heard took a surprising turn.
In a pre-recorded deposition, Kate James, Amber's former personal assistant from 2012 to 2015, claimed that she didn't observe any cuts or bruises on Amber during that time, according to the Daily Mail.
For all the years that she had worked for the "Aquaman" actress, Kate said she did not notice any cuts or bruises on her boss. Instead, the actress was the one who could be describing as being a manhandler - towards her though, not Depp.
When the actress felt that Kate was doing not enough, she would go "absolutely ballistic."

Screaming, yelling, abuse. (It was a) blind rage," Kate testified, per DM. Another example of Amber's alleged "abusive" episodes came when Kate asked for a salary increase. "She leapt up out of my chair, put face four inches from my face, telling me how dare I ask the salary I was asking for. She felt that gave her the right to spit in my face," she alleged.
Kate also said that the actress hadn't claimed that Johnny had hit her while she was working as an assistant. She did admit that Amber had "insecurities" about her connection with the Pirates of the Caribbean star, and that she would "weep" or "complain" from time to time.
Meanwhile, Kate painted Depp as a gentle man. He said he is "peaceful, almost shy, very quiet."
As the trial goes on, many more witnesses are expected, and the trial is expected to go on for several weeks. Christi Dembrowski, Johnny's sister, has already testified. Other celebrities, such as Elon Musk and James Franco, are scheduled to provide statements as well.
When one of Amber's lawyers related an alleged episode of sexual abuse by Johnny to the actress, the actress appeared as though it was a struggle to keep her emotions in check. Amber's assertions have been rebuffed time and time again by Johnny's legal team. Depp's lawyer said they know Heard is prepared to "give the performance of her life" and that she had been "living and breathing this lie for years now."
The team, however, is sure that evidence belying all these allegations would prevail.
