Gbenga Akinnagbe, "The Wire" actor, is apparently being sued by a lady who he claims sexually assaulted him.

Lola Adesioye, a journalist, filed the petitions in a New York court in early April, according to court records acquired by Radar Online.

She alleges that the actor filed a bogus criminal complaint against her and asked authorities to arrest her despite the fact that she "never committed the offenses of which he accused her."

Adesioye alleges that Akinnagbe lied in a police report about her grabbing his buttocks without his permission on two occasions in "retaliation" after she filed a complaint with the NYC Consumer Affairs, Office of Labor Policy, and Standard over pay he allegedly owed her.

She has filed a lawsuit against the HBO actor for slander, retribution, and false arrest.

According to the paper, neither the NYPD nor the Kings County District Attorney's Office acted independently or obtained any evidence to charge Adesioye. Instead, they relied only on Akkinagbe's bogus allegations and fabricated proof.

Adesioye goes on to say that the actor "acted willfully, wantonly, and maliciously in moving forward with his false allegations because he knew his allegations were false," and that her reputation was severely harmed as a result of the "false" accusations made by Akinnagbe after the story was picked up by the media.

The publicity that followed the publication of Akinnagbe's accusations caused Adesioye "severe mental trauma."

She is now requesting that her accuser pay her compensatory and punitive damages, as well as her lawyers bills.

According to the filings, "Akinnagbe's fraudulent publications caused Ms. Adesioye pecuniary and emotional damages in an amount larger than this Court's jurisdictional threshold."

Gbenga Akinnagbe Sexual Assaulted By Woman

Gbenga Akinnagbe alleges he was sexually attacked twice in July 2021, but the lady insists it was consensual and she has receipts to prove it.

Lola Adesioye was arrested in May 2021 and charged with sexual assault, harassment, and forceful touching - but her lawyer says the claims are "blatantly false," per Page Six.

Akinnagbe alleges Adesioye grabbed his buttocks, but her lawyer believes the connection was mutual.

"In that first binder are hundreds of text conversations back and forth from one another that make it very evident that you have two young individuals flirting with one another," her attorney argued.

Akkinagbe and Adesioye allegedly went on excursions together, which he said she used to commit sexual offenses against him.
