Meghan Markle NEVER Wanted To Stay in Royal Family, Expert Reveals Why
Meghan Markle left her senior royal position with Prince Harry, and a royal expert recently explained why the duchess never wanted to be in the royal family at all.
Royal expert and biographer Howard Hodgson recently spoke with Express UK and claimed that Meghan never planned to stay in the royal family. He compared her to Prince Harry's late mother, Princess Diana, as the Duchess of Sussex reportedly also liked the idea of being a princess.
However, the former actress reportedly knew that the role would never be for her.
"I'm sure Diana just genuinely did not understand that being a princess is a horrible thing: you can't go to the loo without having someone standing outside the door, you do the same things every day on the same dates every year for the rest of your life and you have to be polite to everybody all the time," Hodgson explained.
The expert added that Meghan seemingly realized that being a royal is not what she thought it was.
Meghan Markle Once Accused of Having Devious Plan
While Meghan is no longer a senior royal, his brother once accused her of having a devious plan to win Prince Harry's heart,
He revealed that the former actress loved Disney princesses so much as a child that she eventually showed interest in the British royal family as she grew up.
"Watching her grow up I don't think it was the British Royal Family, it was the princess thing - Cinderella and all that kind of stuff, Beauty and the Beast and all those Disney movies that revolve around being a Princess and a Prince and being swept off your feet," Thomas Jr. recalled.
He added that when Meghan went on a school trip to London, she got her photo snapped outside the Buckingham Palace. Since then, Meghan's interest in being part of the royal family intensified. It even made her allegedly come up with a plan to become an actress so that she could run into Harry in Canada and eventually marry him.
The Duchess of Sussex did not know so much about Prince Harry at first, but she decided to push their relationship through since she realized that he was "the one" the moment a friend introduced them to each other.
