Zendaya will not be at this year's Met Gala, because she has to WORK!
In the past year, Zendaya has been grinding her way up to superstardom. From Euphoria to Spider-Man: No Way Home, the young star has become a household name. She has a work ethic that parallels that of Kim Kardashian.
Therefore, when it comes to attending this year's Met Gala, it looks like the star will have to politely decline the invitation - because she has things to do.
In an interview with Extra, the star apologized, saying:
"I hate to disappoint my fans here, but I will be working...Your girl's got to work and make some movies... I'll be playing tennis... I'll be back, though, eventually." The actor has not been at the event for several years due to the same reasoning. We have to say, her hard work is definitely paying off.
The Euphoria actress also addressed rumors that her Spider-Man (and real life) boyfriend Tom Holland may appear on the screen.
Rachel Lindsay of Extra prompted: "Maybe a friend at school or something?" and Zendaya responded, "Listen, who knows? Who knows?"
Rumors about Holland appearing on the hit HBO series Euphoria have been circulating for months. While there has been no indication of an official confirmation, there has also not been a firm dismissal of the idea.
Without a firm dismissal, could that mean that the network is genuinely toying with it? Hm...
