Kardashian-Jenner Family Tries to Get Judge to Dismiss Blac Chyna's Distress Claims in the High Tension Court Case! This is What We Know!
The court case between Blac Chyna and the Kardashian-Jenner family is continuing on, and more details are constantly coming to light.
According to an article on People, the Kardashians are now asking the court to dismiss Blac Chyna's claims of emotional distress and economic distress. The lawyer representing the Kardashian family deemed the claims ridiculous from the beginning. Now, as the trial goes on, that has been even further proved because Blac Chyna has no proof to substantiate your claims. Michael G. Rhodes, the attorney representing Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, and Kris Jenner, remarked:
"Before trial began, these claims were absurd...Now that Plaintiff has testified in her entirety, and has no additional testimony or evidence to offer on her damages, Defendants respectfully submit that entering such an instruction would be a vastly inadequate remedy."
Conversely, Blac Chyna is continuing on with the suit largely under the claim that the family is the reason that her show on E!, Rob & Chyna, was canceled. She has stated:
"What they did was so wrong. I am so thankful that a jury will finally listen to what really happened behind closed doors - the lies that were told and the damage that was done," she tweeted before the trial. "At the end of the trial, I'm going to be able to proudly tell King and Dream that I did everything I could to right the wrong that was done to me. And that, in life, it is my hope that they will be able to stand up for themselves when it matters too."
