"The King of All Media" took to his popular SiriusXM talk show The Howard Stern Show to throw some major shade at actor Johnny Depp amid his ongoing court battle with ex-wife Amber Heard. On Monday's show, Stern said this about The Pirates of the Caribbean actor according to The Wrap,

"On the narcissism scale, I think Johnny Depp is a huge narcissist - and what I mean by that is, he figured 'I'll put this on TV. And because I'm so persuasive and I'm so smart, and I'm such a wonderful guy.'"

Howard continued, speaking about the fact that the news has been allowed access to broadcast the trail and what he thinks the former couple looks like at the end of the day,

"But that's what narcissists do: 'I will charm the pants off of America at the trial.' No you won't. This will not go well. It's not going well for you, it's not going well for her. It's not going well for anybody. You sound like two battling children. It's just coming off really badly."

The shock jock went as far as to accuse Depp of both "overacting" and "writing his own material as he goes along" when fans are watching.

Bottom line, nobody looks good when their past - especially one as dark as theirs - is on full display for the world to see and hear. Depp does have a long history of substance abuse issues, and Heard has been put on record as saying to their therapist Dr. Laurel Anderson:

"If [Depp] were going to leave her to deescalate the fight, she would strike him to keep him there because she would rather be in a fight than have him leave."

Nobody's hands are clean at the end of the day. We all know this. Yes - Maybe putting their personal issues on front street wasn't the best move career-wise, but this was their decision to make.

We can Monday-morning-quarterback the trail as much as we want, but just remember when you do: These are two very broken individuals, and sympathy over slander is the best route we can take as spectators of this media circus. They may be rich and famous, but they're still people - people who are clearly going through a lot.
