Matthew Perry made his fans worry again due to his latest appearance.

On Thursday, Daily Mail released photos of Perry during his coffee time in Los Angeles. He was spotted with a female friend while venturing into a shop where he purchased a takeaway drink.

The "Friends" actor was wearing a loose-fitting grey T-shirt and trainers with missing laces. He then wore a plaid shirt on his way back to his car.

While he was still recognizable, news outlets noted that he now looks way different from his character, Chandler Bing. The actor's hair was a mess and made him look like he had just gotten out of bed.

Fans are now worried about his health, as his recent public outing came after he started working on his tell-all book, "Friends, Lovers, And The Big Terrible Thing."

Meanwhile, a source previously told OK! Magazine that he first sparked concerns when he joined his "Friends" costars during their reunion in the HBO special.

"It was obvious to everyone that something was wrong. Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, David Schwimmer, and Matt LeBlanc all knew it and worked as a team to get him through it. It was almost cruel to watch him sitting next to them," the insider said.

During the reunion, he noticeably got a slurred speech. While the problem became his fans' issue, as well, The Sun revealed that his emergency tooth procedure that day was the reason behind his speech difficulty.

Matthew Perry's Addiction Revisited

It all started when Perry got involved in a jet ski accident in 1997. At that time, he was prescribed with Vicodin.

In 2002, Perry revealed that he liked what the drug made him feel that he wanted to get more.

"I was out of control and very unhealthy," he told PEOPLE. "I returned to my original birth weight."

He then sought treatment and spent 28 days at the Hazelden rehab center in Minnesota. He also spent two weeks at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center to receive treatment for pancreatitis - an inflammation caused by alcohol abuse.

Despite his near-fatal incident, it apparently did not serve as his wake-up call. Unfortunately, it led him to crash his Porsche into a house following his discharge.

Although alcohol and drugs were not involved, he finally knew that he lost control of his life.

Matt LeBlanc tried to talk to his co-star regarding his personal struggle, suggesting that Perry and the professionals should find out the bottom of the problem.

Eventually, Perry got sober because of his self-help.
