Mother Met Gala and Her Children: The Kardashian Women Won the Met Gala
The Kardashian-Jenners came dressed to impress at last night's "Gilded Age" themed Met Gala.
Yes, it's back (finally)! The Met Gala was last night, and the fits have immediately fastened themselves in the ranks of fashion history. The theme of the night was Gilded Glamour, giving today's stars the freedom to explore modern twists on the opulent fashion of olden times.
While everyone came dressed to the tens, the Kardashian-Jenner contingent collectively understood the assignment with breathtaking brilliance.
Kendall and Kylie Jenner, of all the family, wore the dresses closest to old-timey ball gowns - while still giving them a modern twist. Kendall sported a black two-piece dress with a brilliant skirt that gives us MAJOR Gilded Age vibes. Her top was a sheer tank top that elevated the outfit to a level of modern class and sophistication.
Kylie, conversely, killed in a similar concept; Her white two-piece dress was done up with a casual brilliance gave us some real down-the-aisle vibes.
In addition to the gown, the Jenner sported a fun and fashionable backwards baseball-cap-fascinator blend.
Kourtney Kardashian and her husband Travis Barker coordinated, both wearing white collared shirts and dark skirts.
(The two were also seen making out on the red carpet in the couple's truest fashion.)
Of course, the ever iconic couple Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson came in their true, classically jaw-dropping fashion. Davidson sported a suit and sunglasses at the event - very similar to his President's Correspondents Dinner attire. Kim K, meanwhile came clad in Marilyn Monroe's sparkling golden dress - yes, that one.
To channel Monroe even further, the star bleached her hair. It looks FABULOUS.
Khloe Kardashian's dress, meanwhile, was not only striking, but also labor-intensive. The beautiful golden dress took ten days to make.
Well, every second was worth it, because she looked absolutely breathtaking. Much like her sister Kim, gold and sparkly seemed to be the way to play this year.
And of course, Kris Jenner arrived looking absolutley flawless. The momager herself sported an effortlessly flowing yellow one-shoulder dress; Kris took Gilded Age and found a way to make it Greek Goddess.
She wore her hair shortly cropped, elegantly fliipping up at the ends.
In a word: stunning.
While everyone came dressed to impress, as a family, the Kardahsians take the cake for Met Gala 2022.
