Oscar Nominee Felicity Jones Set to Lead New Comedy 'Maria' With WHICH Bridgerton Boy at Her Side?
The Viscount is taking a crack at comedy!
Bridgerton star Jonathan Bailey and Oscar nominee Felicity Jones are teaming up to lead a new comedy. The sure to be hilarious film, titled Maria, will be led by Jones in the title role. The story will follows an extremely complicated woman, named Maria.
Maria has a difficult time coming to terms with her age, her detached relationship with her father, and the love her boyfriend shows her. When her father gets remarried, Maria is tempted into old running-away patterns when she meets her new step-brother; a person she finds herself having instant sexual chemistry with.
Maria's fear of death is amplified, and her relationships complicated even further, when she learns that her father has a terminal disease.
The cast of this film is fantastic already. Jonathan Bailey - best known as Anthony Bridgerton - is set to take on the role of Maria's loving boyfriend Eddy - the one she may or may not run from after she meets her new step-brother. (Is this starting to sound like Clueless to anyone else?)
