Hello, Sultry Vocals! BTS' V Teases an English-Language Song Snippet on Twitter
In a surprise Tweet, BTS' V released a snippet of an original solo song. The song's lyrics are entirely in English and feature the BTS member's sultry vocals, eliciting excited fan reactions immediately.
In an approach that can only be described as "simple is best," the Tweet consists of the word "Hi" and an attached video, where a seemingly makeup-less V takes a long drink of water, then bobs his head and jams along to the song.
The singer looks in his element with barely styled hair and a classic white Burberry T-shirt.
Fitting the mood of the song, it features lyrics that sound like they come from the perspective of a man in love, such as "I think I like you" and "I'm falling for you," among others. Though there are parts of the lyrics that are hard to make out, V's easygoing vocals add to the sweetness of the song.
For fans of the K-Pop super group, V's vocals are instantly recognizable, and can be enjoyed in other sultry R&B-inspired tracks, such as his solo song "Singularity" from BTS' Love Yourself: Tear album. Known also for his stunning visuals and quirky personality, V is popular among fans, so it's not surprising that a tweet featuring a possible new song would grab the attention of the BTS Army.
Rumor has it that the song is a discarded song that won't make it onto the next BTS release.
So, what do you think? Are you enjoying V's surprise gift today? Should HYBE LABELS release the song? Let us know!
