Not In The Afterlife Yet! Hit Amazon Series 'Upload' Officially Announces a Season Three!
Upload has been renewed for a third season at Amazon.
The well received sci-fi comedy Upload is coming back to Amazon for yet another season. The show, created by the incredible Greg Daniels, who is also credited with the co-creation of Parks and Recreation and the American adaptation of The Office, brought this fascinating new comedy to life. Now, at the demand of hungry fans everywhere, Upload is returning for more.
Upload is a show that gives a fresh new take on a topic that humans, by and large, spend much of their time thinking about: the afterlife. In the year 2033, the time in which the futuristic show is set, humans are able to upload themselves into any afterlife of their choosing. The show's main character, Nathan, finds himself uploaded into his dominating girlfriend's family's afterlife. Hilarity ensues.
This hilarity is what has carried the show on alongside its amazing cast. Upload stars Robbie Amell as Nathan, Allegra Edwards as Ingrid, Nathan's girlfriend, and Andy Allo as Nora, Nathan's afterlife customer service representative. The excellent writing combined these powerhouse performers has made the show a hit. The head of global television at Amazon shared in a statement:
"Upload has become a bona fide hit that continues to be one of the most-watched comedy originals on Prime Video...The series continues to connect and provoke endless possibilities for the future of technology and humanity.
"With Greg's distinct comedic take along with the dynamic creative team and talented actors, they've made a globally relevant series which we're all incredibly proud to bring back another season for our customers."
We can't wait to see what the third season of Upload has in store.
