Is Amber Heard involved in a vehicular manslaughter?

The 36-year-old is the center of attention as her defamation trial with ex-husband Johnny Depp started on April 11 in Fairfax County, Virginia.

An previous mugshot of the "Aquaman" actress, on the other hand, went popular on social media.

The processing date of the arrest, according to the legal record, is "September 12, 2003," in Austin, Texas.

The mugshot sparked an outpouring of emotions in response to the arrest details. Some even made fun of Heart, while others came to her support, citing a varietyof odd accusations.

"She from Texas, right?" one Twitter user inquired. Teenage mugshot from a crime. "Are you sure she's not in the Texas Chain Saw Massacre?"

"Still shocked by Amber Heard's juvenile record of misdemeanors and underage mugshot," another individual tweeted. "From a bad-behaving adolescent to a bad-behaving lady."

Amber Heard's juvenile arrest was also mentioned on Reddit. "Was Amber Heard implicated in vehicular manslaughter as a teenager?" the forum asks.

Many assume the blonde actress was detained after being involved in a car accident.

However, according to a Yahoo piece on Heard's formative years, she lost her best friend in a terrible vehicle accident when they were just 16 years old.

The report also highlighted how Heard dropped out of school right away and started a modeling career in New York. She then relocated to Los Angeles and began performing.

Some people were able to connect the two occurrences by referencing the "Rum Diaries" actress' choice to drop out of high school. Others pointed out that her arrest in 2003 was for driving with a suspended license and that there is no indication that the case was connected to her best friend's death in the vehicle accident.

Fans of Heard instantly defendedher, stating she was caught without a license and that there is no proof the whole incident is tied to the murder of her closest friend.

They even believe "it's just more defamation," stating that this allegation is propagated by Depp's fans.

But Amber Heard's arrest in 2003 was not her first. Six years later, in 2009, Heard was arrested on domestic assault charges leveled by her former lover Tasya Van Ree.

The former couple got into a violent altercation in a Seattle airport, and it was stated that Heard grabbed Ree and punched her arm before being detained and charged with fourth-degree domestic abuse.

In a 2016 court appearance, Heard rejected the allegations of physical assault, while her ex-girlfriend claimed that the incident was misinterpreted.
