Today, musical phenom Taylor Swift is giving the NYU Commencement speech - and recieving an honorary Doctorate from the institution's school of fine arts.
The ceremony is taking place today at Yankee stadium. The day itself is jam-packed for graduating NYU students, and for those who graduated in years past; The classes of 2020 and 2021, whose graduation ceremonies were interrupted by the pandemic, will be celebrating their graduations at the venue later today.
Much like Kristen Stewart, Taylor Swift is pointing to her head - where ALL the secrets are. It must be a badass powerful lady thing.
Pictures of Taylor Swift, clad in the ceremonial purple robes, have been circulating Twitter - She looks in the NYU spirit and ready to take on the day.
One Twitter user posted a picture of herself in matching robes and tweeted, "Me and Taylor getting our doctorates the same week?? It must be my wildest dream," closing out the comment with a wink to one of Swift's hit songs.

While we are excited for Swift to recieve this honor (because it could not possibly be more well deserved), Swifties have been eagerly awaiting news from the artist concerning a new album release. That being said, we have some *new theories* about why the long wait might be happening...
